Corporate Governance

The office offers services that relate to the establishment of legal entities in Greece, advising clients on the selection of the optimal legal vehicle for their operations, taking into consideration their particular needs. We draft and negotiate shareholders’ and joint venture agreements prepare corporate resolutions and obtain approvals from the state for all corporate activities.

We advise our clients on a day to day basis on all corporate matters, issues arising from shareholders’ general meetings and other aspects of corporate life, as well as the appointment and removal of directors, share capital increases or decreases, change of registered seat, shareholders’ issues, amendment of Articles of Association and all corporate governance issues in general.

Further to the acquisition of a company, we focus on corporate governance, restructuring and succession (in family businesses) and we work with the company’s management in order to improve decision making.

Dispute Resolution

While our preference is to foresee and preclude rather than to remedy, the office’s litigators combine their experience and knowledge in different legal fields and take into consideration the risks involved to lead our clients through the litigation process when disputes arise.

The team can represent clients in civil and commercial litigation before all levels of the Judiciary, representing both companies and private clients. We also undertake the enforcement of foreign court judgments.

On the context of win-win situations, Alternative Dispute Resolution is supported by the office as a means to achieving resolution to disputes in an efficient, quick and confidential manner.

The office is a pioneer of mediation in Greece and has been among the founding members of the Hellenic Mediation and Arbitration Centre and the Hellenic Union of Mediators.

Investment Planning

We draft, review and comment on transactional documents, negotiate all terms of these documents on the client’s behalf, obtain licences, permits or authorisations and monitor the complete investment or divestment process, addressing all issues that occur throughout the life cycle of a project.
